Intro to Final Task

 Hello, my name is Tara Fenelon. I am an eleventh grader that attends Fort Lauderdale High School. Originally my school of choice would have been Stranahan High. There they would have catered to my future career. Even though I was not keen on the idea of going to a school that is some distance from me, I did it anyways. I try to always be fair to myself and that includes not passing up on oppurtunities. Fort Lauderdale has grown on me though and it turns out this school can tend to my needs and wants as well. My favorite thing to do in the whole wide world is to watch Netflix. My favorite genre would be sci-fi, those are the best of the best. Watching supernatural things come to life through a screen is unbeatable. Because of this I am not much of a reader, sure I went through a reader phase but for the most part that has passed. I decided to take AICE media studies when I realized it was one of the most intriguing courses available in the Cambridge program. I've always been told I should take AICE media because there is so much to benefit from it. Though I do not plan on working in the film industry, anything is possible. If the route that I plan on taking in my life does not work out I can always have the film knowledge and background as a safety net. Taking this course allows me to dig deeper into areas most people only observe the surface. I am more than capable of doing the research necessary to be successful in this class. The film world is not only about what the screen shows, there are camera angles, sounds, shots, movements, conventions etc to be explored. The littlest details themselves have a story to tell. Taking Media Studies will grant me knowledge and extraordinary talents.
