Genre Research: A fall from grace

A woman is formally accused for killing her husband; a novice lawyer believes there may be a conspiracy going on.

This movie often displayed close-ups. Using close-ups, we could see the emotions of the character that was on screen. Arial shots showed the surrounding area of the house or place the characters were at. Establishing shots in this movie were found in the beginning of the scenes. Their purpose was showing where the scenes is filmed and to give the viewers an idea of the settings where this happened.

The costumes were plane and modern. Dressy-casual is the term I would use to describe the outfits . The film was centered around a lawyer who was getting down to the bottom of things. There was not much of a frequent wardrobe change. The lighting was decent, the acting was top-tier even A1. The make-up was great, I could not even tell they had make-up on. People now-a-days do an exquisite job in make-up. The props were realistic and they had an array of settings. The two most prominent settings were the courtroom and the jail conference room.

The sound the movie used were diegetic and non-diegetic. This movie had cutaways. This is where the camera focuses on anything other than the main item for a second and then transfers back to the main item.

Dissolving was found in lots of places of this movie. Dissolving happened mainly when the scenes were shifting to a different place.

The genre drama has a plot, characters, possible songs and dialogue.

I like that there was a lot of conflict as the plot moves forward. The scenarios were portraying real life and things that happen in real life. Though Tyler Perry's movie are exaggerated there is some truth to the scandals that lie in this movie. I did not like the movie left the audience on a cliffhanger. I chose drama for a reason, I did not choose a mystery.
