Revising: Changes

The blog before my last one was of me doing my film review. I managed to include the factors that I needed to. I wrote about the changes I made to my final task. The more I look at it, the more unhappy I become. I feel as if the quality is not as good as it should be and honestly I am unable to reshoot. My video is due sooner rather than later.    Howdie! Some time has passed since I have caught the blog up on what I have been up to. It is definitely that time again, hence the title. TODAY I FILMED THE SECOND HALF OF MY FILM. I gave myself two days to complete filming in total and I met my personal goal. It feels so good to know that I am done with this portion of my project. My head is spinning. I know I have a little over a month to get myself together before walking into that exam room. Back to today though, I spent the first half of my day finishing up my hair. School resumes tomorrow and I cannot attend my classes looking crazy. I am entitled to look decent while in high school especially if I have the power to make it so. I had my mom move her car out of the frame so no personal information was shown. I backed up a good distance from the house so the audience could get a good picture of my message and for me to be able to properly place my titles. I dislike issues with contrast. To be fairly  honest I don't know which color text will go best with each of the different settings, I am thinking either black or white... if not then red. I started filming and realized it was not possible to do both a pan and then a zoom. I booted the zoom idea and went with the pan. The pan is a required and so is the zoom but I already filmed a zoom shot. I want to be able to be proud of my work and have it perfect as well!

  I can finally say I’m done with my music video. After days of dedication my masterpiece is complete. I am done with this song. Before I listen to this song again I need a break. I’d like to go four to six months without hearing it. At first this song was amazing but I played it so much that it bothered me to hear it. Overall I believe the recording and everything else was A worthy. I didn’t include credits at the beginning or end because I don’t feel like I needed any. I worked by myself, it’s self explanatory that I did everything. I mentioned that I got help from my cousin with the actual filming. I would like to do better in the future.

We're almost there

   Hello everyone! It has been a while since I have come around this block to update you guys on what is going on. Lately I have researching different ways I can improve my final task. I can recall what felt like yesterday choosing between two fantastic pitches. One pitch was about an escaped robber hidden amongst teenagers hanging out at a local mall. The other pitch was about a tragedy is reported by a girl in her diary and how drama unfolds. Despite my efforts to go with the first one I had to go with the second. As a high school student, with no source of income I was unable to fund my activities or any projects that may have come my way. Of course I would be able to buy a camera that is necessary because the camera would last me nearly a lifetime. As well as it would be a one time purchase instead of continuous payments. My Pitch

Pitch One : A man escapes jail and hides within a mall. I would be interested in making this film because there is so much to base it off of. If I were to go through this idea the costumes and locations would be a piece of cake. I can envision a bright orange jumpsuit for the escapee. However this pitch has more difficulties than treasures. The first problem I would run into is the amount of actors, being that I work alone it would be nearly impossible to get a whole group of actors and extras in this set not to mention COVID restrictions.  Pitch Two : A girl writes in her diary about a tragedy that occurs to her. I would be interested in making this film because not only is it interesting to me, but it is feasible. Everything that I am imagining concerning this film is do-able and from my point of view I will do an excellent job at it.
