Group Blog

 I decided to work on my own. Recently I took a test where I learned that I prefer to work alone. The test results did not really shock me. They would have been odd if I had found that I work better in groups of people. I find group work fascinating but not my cup of tea. Working with a group is stressful to me. I would normally have to worry about what others have not completed. I would have to pick up where they were slacking. I would find this frustrating because I did not sign up for the portion of that project and that would throw me offtrack. This would make me very anxious. Not knowing if my project was prepared would have me on the hot seat. In the past I have had backup plans in case someone did not do their part. The backup plans always came through, however when working with someone you should be able to trust that they will finish their work on time. I understand that now but I want to take the easy way out. In my eyes the easy way out would be doing the project by myself. I would not have to confer with anyone. I would know how I wanted something, when I wanted it done and who I wanted it done by. The downside to working alone is the workload. Sure, it is possible to do the work for a project by yourself. Sometimes it is a little hard to take on so normally you would need a helping hand or two.
