Final Genre Decision

I have decided to use the drama genre for my opening sequence.

Drama delivers the emotional development of realistic characters in a realistic setting. Intense character development places the audience in the character's shoes. Drama films are model presentations or stories with settings or realistic situations that portray characters in conflict with either themselves or others.

Movies in the drama genre tend to show us human beings in all of their forms. The forms which I am referring to are humans being at their best-selves, worst-selves and everything that comes with that. This genre is like a memory coming to life. The films are normally plot-driven, everyone has their own role to play. This genre best suits characterizing the real world because people tend to believe they are the main character while everyone else plays a small role. Drama genres are directed to flow correctly. There should not be a character that comes out of thin air. A backstory allows the audience to get a true feel of the character on the screen.

Drama movies include empathy and emotions that would be seen in the lives of everyone. People everywhere go through a lot. Many of them are afraid to bring these occurances to life. Being that I am passionate about showing and documenting events that are not usually displayed.

I am open to using props to make my project happen. I have high hopes for myself when it comes to bringing this project to life. I plan on effectively communicating with my intended audience. I will alternate between my point of view and what I feel the people watching the screen's point of view would be.

I will not use any superheroes, talking cats, or anything of the supernatural world because that would be categorized under a different genre. I want my genre to be neat and organized, I do not being all over the place.
