Planning: Other Information

Location: For the location of this project I immediately thought of two places. The two places I have in mind is my room and then the cemetary on Oakland park.

ParticipantsI have thought about this long and hard and have decided that I will use the resources which were given to me. I have to practice getting out of my shell more and that includes me asking for help when my pride does not allow me to. I will turn to my older cousin, who helped me with my music video, again for a helping hand. For the extras and the characters in the opening sequence I plan on using my friends and loved ones. I have not thought about the specifics yet however. Things such as who will play what role have not been spiraling in my head much.

Health and Safety: I will be very cautious in recording the opening sequence. I know COVID is real and is thriving as of now. I am trying to gather the least amount of people that I can. I do not like putting people in danger, I feel like that is very unnecessary and reckless of people. I will politely request that masks are on and distances are kept up until the moment we record.

Schedule: With the schedule I do not want to be too strict. I know that people get busy and will have to cancel last minute or show up another time and that is completely understandable. I want to get this show on the road as soon as I can to prepare for the unseen and unexpected. Nothing ever goes completely right so being prepared for a fork in the road is only a plus to my planning. A guideline would be nice though.

  • March 6~ Call cemetery to make sure the location is approved
  • March 9~ Double check sound rights
  • March 12~ Meet up with actors to check if they are still comfortable being on screen
  • March 15~Finalize wardrobe for everyone
  • March 18~ Film all of my scenes at the cemetery
  • March 19~Film all of my scenes at my house
  • March 20~Choose the best of every scene taken

Backup Plan: As stated above we as humans should plan on the unexpected. The unexpected is possible here. Whether I am not allowed to film in a cemetery or the cemetery is deemed too creepy, I am not sure. In these scenarios I would simply request that everyone meet at the nearest park instead. My backup plan is the change in scenery. Though it would dull my project, my intent would stay the same.
