Ttile Design Research: (Comedy) Holiday

 1.    How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film? Which ones?

I counted approximately five titles displayed during the opening sequences. I counted all the actors name as one title because they would all go under one category.  I am not completely sure my answer is right however. The titles were in French, though I am taking a French class I have not learned these words. I included the titles which I was able to properly translate. The titles that were displayed during the opening sequence to the film was coproduction, production company, the title, the actor's names

2.    What connotations do  the images carry?

The clock in the beginning creates a symbol for time passing. As the opening scene goes on flashes of throw up and human bodily fluids are shown. Music is played in the background and each time it stops a feature such as whistling clapping, or the cymbals is added. Despite what is on the actual screen the viewer feels cheery when wanted this.

3.    How is genre reinforced through symbolic and technical codes from the outset?

I can immediately tell what genre this opening scene falls under. Between each scene instead of the song lasting throughout it completely stops. It helps show the funny side and effect the writers are trying to show.

4.    What conventions are used to ensure the film appeals to its target audience?

First off the camera is handheld. Comedy entails making people laugh. This means not walking on the path of other genres. They have to be special and make the scenes realistic and funny.
